Youth and university students with school or court required community service hours and anyone else can join us at any of the volunteer work events listed above.
Additionally, youth can get involved through:
GardenUP!: Youth development and organic garden training and later a possible stipend for being a 3 month garden coach with neighbors.
Closer to Earth Trainee: Youth learn about organic gardening, composting, native landscaping and zero-landfill events. Youth are empowered to teach others, explore community organizing and environmental advocacy while working with other teenagers, college students and neighbors.
Whether you are interested in getting to know our youth or learning about organic gardening and composting, we love to have volunteers!
Please contact Allen at Parleir@cox.net for information on volunteer opportunities.
